I am doing the science fair and I am in fifth grade, and I was wondering what different foods rabbits need in different stages of life?

A baby rabbit, or kit, feeds solely on its mother's milk for the first three weeks of life. After three weeks, the kit will begin eating alfalfa hay and pellets. At 7 weeks of age, kits can be fed an unlimited diet of pellets and alfalfa hay (both are high in nutrients required for growth and development) as well as their mother's milk. Kits are usually weaned off milk by 8 weeks of age. Between around 2 months and 7 months of age, the young rabbit may have an unlimited amount of pellets and alfalfa hay. At 3 months of age, small amounts of vegetables can be introduced into the diet. Introduce one vegetable at a time to avoid GI upset.

From age 7 months to 1 year old, timothy hay, grass hay, oat hay or a combination of the three should make up a majority of the diet and be offered in unlimited amounts 24/7/365. This high fiber diet is essential to a rabbit's health. Alfalfa hay and pellets should be limited to small amounts of each daily to prevent obesity or other medical conditions.

Mature adult rabbits and senior rabbits (6+ years) essentially eat the same diet of the previously mentioned hays and grasses. Several servings of vegetables (dark, leafy greens) should be fed daily. Senior rabbits may need an increased amount of pellets if they cannot maintain a healthy weight on grasses and vegetables alone.
