For puppies it's probably best to teach them to tolerate nail trimming. There are nail caps made for dogs, but my concern is a young puppy might rapidly outgrow the nail caps, making it an expensive solution.Nail trimming should be done before applying the caps anyway. And trying to wrestle with a puppy through a nail trim and THEN try to apply nail caps with superglue, it just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
