My dog is an 8 year old pug. I adopted him last year. He had very bad teeth, they have a lot of plaque and 1 fell out a couple weeks ago. I am trying to decide if I should get his teeth cleaned bu a vet. He will not let me anywhere near his mouth to brush them etc. I give him toothbrush bones often but I think they are too far gone. I’m just very worried about putting him under for the procedure. Is it worth the risk to him?
