So i just left my house for like 10 minutes to go to the gas station. I had a sweater sitting on top of my dressor with my night time pain medication sitting on top of it. When i came back the sweater was on the ground and the half i was supposed to take is gone and i can’t find it. I’m almost positive he consumed it. It is a Vicodin 750. He’s not acting different but I’m really worried about him. What should i do?

If you are sure Kodak ate the pill, you should have him examined by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER. Vicodin contains acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Acetaminophen is toxic to dogs and the hydrocodone can be deadly as well.
Ideally, vomiting should be induced via injection to get the pill out of his system before he digests and absorbs the medication. Activated charcoal may be used afterwards to further reduce absorption.
He may need to stay overnight for observation and his kidney function should be monitored for the next week or two.
