My dog cut the pads of her foot off on 2 toes. We have no vets open nearby. What can we do?

My dog hurt his paw while playing outside. Should we go to the vet or will it heal itself? it isn't bleeding constantly, he isn't yelping in pain, he just lies down and doesn't walk to much. What should be do?

I have a 3 month kitten and it has been sleeping a lot, has a runny nose, eye discharge, has been sneezing a lot, but eats perfectly fine. Do you think it may have a cold? If so, is it expensive to take it to the vet and get it treated?
