Hi My german shepherd puppy had a cyst removed from her elbow 16 wk. It is now back 2 wks later. another vet has recommended considering surgery. How many times would be reasonable to aspirate before considering having surgery.? we have hard wood floors so worried would repeat. Our other GS never had this problem with hard wood floors. Does not seem painful or interfering with her walking or running. Is there other padding I can use thank you

IF the cyst comes back more than 2 times after being emptied with a syringe, then the only alternative to get rid of it is surgery. you should buy a few dog beds and put them around your house, this can prevent reoccurance.
