Well my neighbor has a dog floppy he eats her pecans that fall off the tree,shell and all. He is choking and coughing like he has one stuck in his throat. What should she do? Since she cant get him to a vet. Please help. I know someone at petcoach will know what to do.

I am sorry to hear about Mia. I see this was posted last night, I hope she is more comfortable already. If not, you can try to feed her moist food to see if it will help stimulate the esophagus to contract and push the food down. If not then she likely needs to find a veterinarian and have an x-ray of the area. However, very often when I have a dog present with those symptoms it turns out they have kennel cough. So I would question her at length to see if she has had any possible exposure in the last 2 weeks. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
