Am I walking Lucy on a daily health routine. she has biscuits and jelly food at 6:30 with water and an hour long walk at 7 and again at 12 and then a run and a swim in the park at 5 after that taking her out in the garden and a short 10 minute walk at 11 . is this to overpowering with exercise for a 10 year old Springer? I want to keep her active and healthy but not pushing her over her limit . I love her so much and want to make sure she stays healthy and happy .

I think this is a wonderful routine as long as she doesn’t act stiff the next day. Slow steady low impact exercise (walks, swims) are some of best exercises for an older dogs. Sometimes the sprints and runs can cause more stiffness. Also, if you don’t already I would consider getting her on some joint supplement like dasuquin to help her joints. I hope this helps!
