What could this possibly be? I have a vet appointment tomorrow but I’m scared. He doesn’t eat he weighs probably less than 5 pounds very fragile always cold can barely open his eyes and barely eats. He also constantly poops on himself.

I just got a fish tank (10 gallons with heater, filter)...i added my water conditioner...everything is set up in the tank...i just bought my betta fish from the pet store, and it is still in the container it came in. I am not really sure if i should wait 24 hours for my tank to "cycle"...i dont know what cycling means...but i heard it and someone said i have to wait 24 hours until i introduce my betta fish...do i wait 24 hours or can i introduce and start acclimating my betta fish now?
