Sasha is very hyperactive and jumps on the furniture. After a long sit or sleep she started limping with hard swelling on her right back leg (caused by a trauma most probably). After XRay the vet gave her profenid for 10 days and neurobion for 1 month, and suggested a surgery if not cure. Wanting to avoid surgery we started giving her Glucosamine and avoiding activity. Swelling is becoming soft.

Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! I would allow at least 4 weeks before rechecking the leg. Strains or sprains can take some time to heal and the swelling may not go down until this time has passed. If there is no improvement, I would recommend going to an orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion to help better determine what could be going on. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
