My pet has vaginal discharge of clear blood and it’s yelloish too. She started 7days ahí and I gave her metrodinazole 500mg one in am and another in pm. Yesterday was her last pill for 5 days. Since I didn’t see she was getting better, I started giving her Amoxicillin 500mg this morning. She hasn’t eaten for 6 days but I’m giving her pedialyte and chicken broth. Can you suggest anything?

I'm sorry to hear that Bella hasn't been feeling well. I also see that she has not been spayed. Given her bloody, yellow vaginal discharge and loss of appetite, my first concern would be that she has developed a pyometra, which is a serious and potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus. Other possible causes include a urinary tract infection, vaginitis, or mass in her vagina or uterus. Pyometras most commonly occur a few weeks after the end of a heat/estrus cycle due to hormonal changes. The only way to actually cure a pyometra is to surgically remove the uterus by spaying her. Antibiotics are also used, but amoxicillin alone is not typically sufficient for these cases due to the potential spectrum of bacteria involved. At this point, I strongly recommend taking Bella directly to an emergency vet for evaluation and any necessary diagnostic tests (likely blood work and abdominal x-rays). If a pyometra is diagnosed, her chances of recovery are better if surgery is performed sooner rather than later. I hope this helps and that all goes well for Bella!
