Make sure you are not playing with your hands with him as this will make him think it is a game and you are part of it. Tug of war can also establish this behavior since you are on the other side of the rope. IF you play fetch or another game and he starts to try to bite, make sure you correct him and tell him and immediately stop playing with him. He will begin to associate if he does that then play time is over and he will learn to stop if he wants to keep playing. He will only need a 5-10 minute break before play time can resume as this attention span is not that long. When he has a good play session make sure you reward him with lots of treats and praise. If this does not help then you may need to seek a behavior class to further help
