My dog will NOT go inside his doghouse.Rain or shine cold,windy doesnt matter.He used to but not anymore what is causing it?I would love to bring him inside since the weather is cold.I bought a heating mat put it inside the doghouse&blankets he still wont.If im there coaxing him he will and lay down but the second i take 1step away out he goes.

Hello, I think Kilo enjoys being outdoors and having some space. There may be something new perhaps in the house that is causing him to be unsure while indoors. Things that could cause this are new pets, babies, new furniture but in a 13 year old this may be a hard behavior to change. If he has any arthritis and the floors are too slippery, this may also be keeping him from wanting to be indoors. If you think the floors may be too slippery adding some carpeted areas and trimming his toe nails may help him get a better balance.
