Good morning. I have two dogs, a 1 year old yellow lab and a 15 year old Pug. The lab had recently been having frequent episodes of diarrhea that had sudden onset. Then this morning, the Pug developed the same issues. The stool is very runny with some mucous. The dogs are acting normally otherwise. Also, the lab is a hunting dog for waterfowl. What could be the cause and is it safe to conservatively treat at home, for how long? Thank you.
