My dog is jerking randomly like she is being shocked, any thoughts on what would cause this?

Hi there. Based on your description, I would be concerned about a possible partial seizure disorder, or other neurologic problem. It's also possible that she could be having sudden bouts of pain or discomfort due to an orthopedic problem or skin condition of some kind.

I would recommend getting some video of what she is doing, and taking her to the vet for an exam. You can show him/her the video at the visit. Your veterinarian should be able to give you a better idea of what the possible causes might be, and can recommend additional testing if needed to help diagnose the problem.
