My elderly dog was diagnosed with kennel cough by her doctor 3 days ago, this being day 3. She had a slight temperature and prescribed antibiotics, twice daily. She is drinking water, but still has no energy, or appetite. Do I need to worry?

Hello. It can take up to 3 weeks for a pet to completely recover from kennel cough, but with Lucy being an older pet, I would call your vet & explain that she still does not have any energy or appetite. The first thing to consider is if there is something else going on. Was she tested for heartworm disease? Did your vet do any blood work & x-rays?
